September Harvest Buffet photos

President Nancy Talbot (center) welcomes the club's new members, Patty Look (left) and Julie O'Donnel (right)

The highlight of the September meeting is the wonderful buffet.  Members each bring a dish to the "pot luck" events.  This year a mystery dish stirred things up when the creator was not to be found and many members wanted the recipe.

The desserts (left) are always wonderful, too!  President Nancy welcomes everyone to the buffet.  This is Nancy's first meeting as club president.

Fall Plant Sale 2004

The club moved the annual fall plant sale to the side area of the library.  Ample parking and fewer traffic issues make this an ideal spot.

The plant sale's success is due in a large part to Sue Kramer's assistance.  Sue (left) secures high quality mums, asters, and other annuals and perennials for the club with her business contacts.  The quality of the plants brings repeat customers every year.

June Dinner Meeting

President Linda Ware awards the President's Award to member Sue Kramer at the club's June dinner meeting.  This award recognizes a club member who has donated significant amounts of time to the success of our organization.  Congratulations, Sue!

New club president Nancy Talbot sits with outgoing president Linda Ware at the annual club dinner in June.

Club member Charlene Malek installs the new officers.

Each new board member is presented with a flower, the color of which signifies important qualities of the person to hold that board position.

Sage plants were awarded to club members with perfect attendance.  Congratulations, ladies!

April Meeting photos

Under the direction of club member Sue Kramer, we worked to create living wreaths.  The arrangements contain ivy, moss, and colorful pansies.  Everyone loved getting their hands dirty with this project.

Silver Tea photos

The November Silver Tea was a big hit!  Designer Bill Graham created many beautiful arrangements, and guests and club members enjoyed wonderful treats created by club members.  Plus the gift basket raffle was a big hit again.

Garden Therapy

This year's garden therapy was very popular with both club members and the residents of Sunbridge Nursing Home.  Over the year, 19 club members assisted the residents as they created beautiful crafts with flowers, straw hats, wreaths, pottery, and much more.
